PX-System Studio module

PX-System™

STUDIO

A modular acoustic volume. Full-range absorption, so you hear the source, not the room.

The volume

Depth without the buildout.

Real absorption needs depth. Depth usually means construction: studs, drywall, dust. Studio is the depth as a module. 100 or 200 mm of absorber that mounts on the wall, hangs from the ceiling, or stands on the floor. When you move, it moves with you.

Performance

Measured on the core.

From 100 mm of core depth the material reaches Absorption Class A. Studio 200 goes further on the low end and modal control. A room takes one depth or the other.

The classes shown are indicative, derived from third-party reverberation room measurements of the acoustic core by Peutz and SG-Bauakustik to EN ISO 11654, which describe the core in a reference construction. No absorption value is claimed for the completed assembly. Certification of the full assembly is in preparation with Matelys.

The mount adds an 18 mm cavity behind Air, which is what separates the first two rows. From 100 mm of core depth the class is already A, so Studio is listed once, with or without the mount. One mount carries all of these.

Studio 100 or Studio 200 standard, extended depths on request · cubic aluminium framework with eight corner connectors · core CARUSO ISO-BOND 035, layered in depths above 100 mm · shares one mount with Air, which sits on the front · direct to structure or freestanding as alternatives · side panels take textile, veneer or leather · no mineral wool, no foam, fully recyclable. Assembly fire classification follows the selected finish and is settled at specification stage.

Freestanding

Dividers, baffles, room objects.

Studio does not need a wall. The same volume stands on the floor as a divider, hangs overhead as a baffle, or sits in the room as an object. The finish is chosen the same way.

Sizes and fixings are set per room and settled at specification.

Upgrade path

Works with Air.

  1. 01Mount.The same mount holds Air, Studio 100 and Studio 200. It is already in the wall.
  2. 02Deepen.Studio 100 or Studio 200 fixes onto it.
  3. 03Re-face.Air clicks back onto the front.

Changing depth later means swapping the Studio module. The anchors in the wall are never touched.

In the box

The mount is already in the wall.

Studio arrives as the module and its own fixings. The mount and the printed 1:1 template ship with Air and stay where they are, so there is nothing to re-drill and nothing to measure twice.
